I was recently giving to the opportunity to take my four & half-year-old to see Phineas & Ferb The Best Live Tour Ever!  produced my Feld Entertainment. My son & I have watched this show on Disney Channel & Disney XD over the past few years.  The show itself is pretty interesting show that follows 2 stepbrothers Phineas & Ferb as they try to make the best out of 104 days of summer vacation. Each episode they come up  unique inventions & schemes  to make each day of vacation the best day ever. The step brother have a sister Candice who is always trying to get her brothers into trouble with their mom but almost always failing to do so. The show stars Phineas pet platypus, aka Agent P., who is a secret Agent Hero  who battles evil DR. Doofenshmirtz and foils his plans to take over Danville and the Tri-State Area. The shows also has many catchy musical numbers like Backyard Beach, Perry the Platypus Theme Song, Gitchee Gitchee Goo, Phinedroids and Ferbots, Fabulous, S.I.M.P (Squirrels in My Pants) & Leave the Busting to us! Now how do they take a good kids animated show and make it The Best Live Tour Ever! well very easy by taking all that makes the show good (the characters, the songs & shows main plot) add some good costumes and actors. Of course it is hard to add all the things form the show that you like into about 90 minutes of a live show.

Disney Phineas & Ferbs The Beast Live Tour Ever! bring all your favorite characters: Phineas Flynn, Ferb Fletcher, Agent P (Perry), Baljeet Rai, Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, Candace Flynn, Jeremy Johnson, Buford Van Stomm & Evil Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Some of your favorite songs from the show with dance numbers  like S.I.M.P (Squirrels in My Pants), Leave the Busting to us!,  Backyard Beach, & Agent P’s Theme Song. The never ending battle between Agent P & Dr. Doofenshmirtz as he tries to use his new machine to take control of the audience.  The actors & there costumes made Phienas, Ferb & the rest of gang come to life. They added a new song to the show called “We’re Gonna Put On A Show!” which is a very catchy song like the rest of the shows songs. Overall the show was very good, entertaining  and funny, making it The Best Live Tour Ever! My son enjoyed the show very much minus Dr. Doofemshmirtz cause he was scared of him for some reason. But did enjoy seeing his favorite character Agent P fight Dr. Doofemshmirtz in there epic live/animated battle. ID o highly recommand if you have kids or you enjoy watching Phineas & Ferb (I promise not to tell anyone) and you have a chance go see this show and you won’t be disappointed cause I wasn’t ..errr…. I mean my son wasn’t.

I grew up with Disney – and Loved Every one of their programs.  So when I had the opportunity to go see this with my son, I jumped at the chance.  Lil C and I brought a couple of guests with us. Our guests included Grammy and Uncle S and his Girlfriend!  It was a lot of fun… I think us older kids got a bigger kick out of this show – because we have all seen the movies before (on VHS even!)

The first started out the night telling the story of the Lion King.  This had to showcase some of the best Ice Dancing I have ever seen. Then onto the story of the Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stich and then Peter Pan.  Each stop that Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy made was only about 20 minutes long (or a little less), but managed to tell the WHOLE story!  I was very impressed on how well they caputred the whole story in such a short amount of time.

Like all the Disney Shows, this was created with the younger kids in mind.  It was nice that they had a short intermission half the way through the program.  That way Lil C (and mommy) could stretch our legs and he could talk!  They even would give you a 2 minute warning when the show would begin again so you had enough time to make it to your seats.

I cant wait until the next Disney On Ice.  I know it is something that Lil C and I both enjoy – and it is always nice having that special bonding moment between mommy and son.

Last night I had the chance to take my son and two guests to see Toy Story 3 on ice at the Palace of Auburn Hills. I kept this a secret from lil C until w arrived. A soon as you walked in the Palace was decorated in total Toy Story 3 gear. There were little shops/stands everywhere you turned.

One of the nicest things about this show is the fact that they gave you ample warning when it was going to start.  They gave you the last Heads up at 3 minutes before the show and before the second act.  It gave us enough time to get Lil C settled and ready to watch the performance.  The night was totally magical. It started off featuring your favorite Disney characters…Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofie…introducing the story.

I have not seen the movie Toy Story 3 … So this was a first for me. This was also the first time that lil C or I have been to an “On Ice” event, so  I wasnt sure what to expect.  I didnt Know if it was going to be an ice skating compeition – with music only… Or was it going to be narrorated like a play…Well, for any of you who had the same question… It is narrorated…And there are seperate dance routines – to songs such as Dream Weaver.

I would say that that Disney on Ice did a great job telling Toy Story.  They incorporated parts of the first 2 movies to tell the story of Andy and his Toys – and how hard it was to seprate from them when he was ready to go to college.  It also incorporates the theme of Family – whether it be a family of humans, or a Family of toys…

From what I was told Toy Story on Ice followed most of the story line from the movie – There were some missing parts and characters from the movie, but that was probably due to the ability for scene changes. Toy Story on Ice is still going on ! There are a few shows left If you would like to go and see it!  You can find out more about tickets at Palace Sports & Entertainment
Shows remaining are:
Saturday 3:30pm
Saturday 7:730 pm
Sunday 11:30 am

See a bit of our visit!
