Its winter… and even though I am wearing a long-sleeve shirt and am covered by a Blanket… My ARMS are Freezing! Trying to cover my arms with the blanket…. and then my feet are cold because they get uncovered. It’s a Loose loose with this blanket of mine…. That’s when I pulled out my Slanket. A Slanket is a Blanket with Sleeves!
A little about how Slanket was born: One subzero night in 1998 during my first semester of college I could not escape Maine’s winter bite. While watching Late Night with Conan O’Brien I decided I needed to tear a hole in my sleeping bag so I could keep my upper body warm as I channel surfed during the commercial breaks. During Christmas vacation I commissioned the first Slanket to be made by my mother…and it was born. (Slanket)
Like the creator of the Slanket, I hated not being able to keep my upper body – my arms especially - warm when I am watching tv… Or Typing up this review! Well, Thank you to Slanket, my arms are NOT cold while I am relaxing on my bed bringing you the best of the best products – and listing to the TV in the background! I reveived a Beautiful Valentines Day colored Slanket – RED! The length of this particular Slanket is PERFECT. It covers not only my shoulders… but my arms….and my toes ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! I was extremely excited! Slanket has come out with some really great designs. There is a Variety of Plain Colors and a group of patterned Slankets. My favorite pattern is Night Rain… What’s Yours?
